As of 1st April, fees for submitting planning applications are increasing by 3.8%. 📈
This means that if you or your client wishes to secure the current fees, you must have submitted and – most importantly – paid for the application before 5pm on Tuesday 31st March.
Further information on these changes can be found on the Planning Portal’s website, here: https://blog.planningportal.co.uk/2026/01/30/english-planning-application-fees-increase-on-1st-april-2026/

We are pleased to have submitted a planning application to @eppingforestdc for an Imaging Extension to the recently constructed Community Diagnostic Centre at St Margaret’s Hospital, Epping (@princessalexandranhs ). The extension will provide greater imaging capacity and will result in quicker, more local access to tests, closer to patients’ homes.

LPP went back to school to attend the @caterhamhighschool Careers Fair and speak to students across all year groups about Town Planning careers, the RTPI and the available routes into the profession.
We are keen to promote the profession to those considering their future options, with a view to boosting the number of future Planners.
The students’ enthusiasm and interest in the built environment and the opportunity to play a part in its development was encouraging to see. Thanks for having us!
