Planning Strategy advice to help develop a spatial economic development strategy for the District.

LPP with Roger Tym & Partners were instructed by Tendring District Council to advise on a development strategy and undertake a review of all existing employment sites within the District to inform the Planning Authority’s Local Plan review.  

Each site was assessed against key deliverability and sustainability criteria and recommendations were made on planning potential and future development options.  The instruction also involved providing a development strategy to help facilitate economic growth in the event that a major port expansion at Bathside Bay, Harwich occurred and also options for business park development on Colchester fringes.
