Acting as planning advisors to NHS Property Services, preparing an evidence base and engaging in the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) charging schedule preparation process. Securing recognition for healthcare infrastructure to be funded by CIL through a standard charge for health payable by ‘CIL Liable Development’.

A statutory healthcare charge was subsequently incorporated in the Chelmsford CIL charging schedule, becoming effective from 2014, and is reviewed annually.
