Planning advice and project management in support of a new health centre (NHS operational development) at Sudbury, Suffolk.

As part of NHS Suffolk’s modernisation programme to improve the quality of patient health care and service in the Sudbury area, proposals for a multi million pound health care investment providing accommodation for GP & pharmacy services, diagnostics, childrens’ services, community nursing, mental health services & clinical staff training have been brought forward, following the securing of planning permission in December 2011.

The state of the art health centre was subsequently built and opened in January 2015

• Planning strategy advice
• Project management of planning process and multi-disciplinary consultant team
• EIA screening and securing a direction
• Preparation of planning application including advice on Heritage Asset setting impacts
• Liaison/negotiation with Local Planning Authority and consultees
• Planning permission secured for the development in December 2011
• Discharge of planning conditions including coordination of a Green Travel Plan strategy for the site
