Instruction
Planning strategy advice to obtain planning permission for an access road required for use by industrial operators in the event of local road closures triggered by emergency situations.
Project Details
LPP secured planning permission in February 2024 for an access road, allowing industrial operations at West Thurrock Works to continue uninterrupted in the event of emergency situations necessitating closure of the local road network. The project also required securing a Public Right of Way (PROW) Diversion Order and advertisement consent for an information signage board for the diverted PROW.
Negotiations with the Local Planning Authority ensured that planning permission was granted subject to compliance conditions only.
