Pier Lodge, Argent Street, Grays

Client – Industrial Chemicals Group Ltd

Project Details – The Pier Lodge site comprises a C19th former residential dwelling and its grounds, currently in use as a children’s day nursery. As part of a disposal strategy, the client wished to redevelop the site for residential purposes.

Full planning permission was secured for a part 4/ part 5 storey block accommodating 21 residential apartments, with associated parking, private amenity space, landscaping, bin storage and ancillary infrastructure works in September 2015.

– Assembly and project management of a specialist consultancy team and the planning process
– Liaison and negotiation with Local Planning Authority and statutory consultees
– Preparation and submission of detailed planning application. Permission secured in September 2015
– Submission of representations as part of the Council’s ‘Call for Sites’ process and related local plan review
