Instruction – Planning strategy advice to obtain planning permission for a Lorry Park Extension

Client – Industrial Chemicals Ltd

Project Details – LPP instructed to secure permission for a 4ha extension to an existing lorry park at ICL’s West Thurrock Works Site, incorporating an additional 324 HGV spaces (increasing to 554 spaces overall). In July 2015 the Council’s Planning Committee resolved to grant planning permission for the scheme, which also includes HGV fuelling, truck wash and driver amenity facilities, flood lighting, drainage and ecological mitigation, subject to completion of a S106 planning obligation
