Pier Lodge, Argent Street, Grays

Client – Industrial Chemicals Group Ltd

Project Details – The Pier Lodge site comprises a C19th former residential dwelling and its grounds, currently in use as a children’s day nursery. As part of a disposal strategy, the client wished to redevelop the site for residential purposes.

Full planning permission was secured for a part 4/ part 5 storey block accommodating 21 residential apartments, with associated parking, private amenity space, landscaping, bin storage and ancillary infrastructure works in September 2015.

LPP’s Role – Planning strategy advice, Assembly and project management of a specialist consultancy team and the planning process, Liaison and negotiation with Local Planning Authority and statutory consultees, Preparation and submission of detailed planning application. Permission secured in September 2015, Submission of representations as part of the Council’s ‘Call for Sites’ process and related local plan review
