Location & Directions

By Car

Via the A12/Colchester Town – From the A12, leave at Junction 29 (Ardleigh Interchange). If travelling from the east (London) take the 3rd exit on the Ardleigh Interchange roundabout. If travelling from the west (Ipswich), take the 2nd exit off the roundabout on to the A1232/Ipswich Road in the direction of the Town Centre. Following the road signs for Colchester Castle, stay on Ipswich Road until you reach the roundabout with Waitrose on your left; take the 2nd exit off this roundabout to East Gates; proceed down the hill to the mini roundabout and take the 2nd exit; proceed to the traffic lights at the bottom of East Hill and proceed straight across, travelling up East Hill.  At the top of the hill before the traffic lights with Queen Street, turn left onto Lewis Gardens and follow the road round to the left, past Firstsite on your righthand side, where you will find the entrance to the main car park of East Hill House.

The postcode to enter in your SatNav is CO1 1UW. However, we do recommend entering Colchester from Junction 29 of the A12 as explained above, to avoid the town centre’s one-way traffic system.

By Public Transport and Foot

Colchester North Station is the main station which is well served by buses and taxis, as is the smaller Colchester Town station.  A taxi ride from Colchester North Station will take between five and ten minutes, depending on the time of day.

Our office can be accessed by foot, with a walk from Colchester North Station taking approximately 20 minutes.  Follow the signs for Colchester Castle and Firstsite for access into Lewis Gardens.
