Instruction – Provision of special project advice to Local Planning Authority

Client – Mid Suffolk District Council

Project Details – 45ha employment development comprising 120,000m² of B2 and B8 floorspace, rail sidings, new access and off site highway improvements to A14 trunk road, landscape, ecological and drainage infrastructure

LPP’s role
– Special project advisor to Planning Authority
– Assessment of outline application and Environmental Statement
– Liaison with statutory consultees including Network Rail and Highways Agency
– Liaison with third party groups, local residents and MP’s
– Briefing and planning strategy advice to local authority officers and members
– Site subsequently identified as a strategic employment site in Mid Suffolk DC Core Strategy Focused Review Adopted (2012)
